Hi girls,
Do you remember the first composition that you did in Term 3? The picture is seen below.

Well, it was great that many of you can actually start a composition with a dialogue. More importantly, it made your composition more interesting! Many of you did pretty well. Great job! I have actually picked out a composition from one of your classmates. Please enjoy reading the composition below.
"It is a good day to play basketball!" Jack thought to himself. With his mother's permission, he put on his basketball shoes and picked his ball and left for the basketball court nearby.
As Jack was walking along the community club, he accidentally kicked the ball into the canal nearby. He leaned forward over the safety barrier to retrieve his ball but he lost his balance and fell into the water!
Jack screamed for help as he tried desperately to stay afloat while the fast currents swept his ball away. The currents carried Jack further down the canal too. Fortunately, a passer-by who could swim heard him. The passerby dived into the water and pulled Jack to the nearby flight of canal steps. Exhausted Jack climbed out of the canal.
By then, a crowd had gathered to watch the commotion. Jack was shocked and also embarrassed by his own recklessness. The adults comforted him but also chided him for his actions. One of them helped to make a call to his mother to inform her to bring Jack home. Jack thanked the kind stranger who rescued him while he waited for his mother.
